friendly staff easy check-in outdated hotel meh lawns
The building had such a lovely setup with activities and nice walks! The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating . Check-in was easy. The room was clean and well-equipped.
I noticed that the hotel has become very outdated, I stayed in the room and it would really benefit from some TLC. The lawns look great when you drive up, but everything looks 'meh'.

Acceptable Grounds, Underwhelming Room
tatty bathroom poor cleaning
The grounds are beautiful. I appreciated the views of the lake from the premises.
The room felt very tired, like it needed an overhaul (I stayed in 2024). The bathroom looked especially tatty. I noticed bad staining and cleaning was not up to par, especially on the toilet.

unanswered calls slow response
The grounds were attractive. I appreciated being able to relax outdoors.
I found the level of service disappointing. i was kept awake by a loud tv in a nearby room, and multiple calls to the front desk went unanswered. When i complained, staff told me to send an email. A response would take two weeks..
